🎉 Excited to share that my team placed 5th out of 18 teams submitted, and 30 teams participated at the AGI-thon Werewolf Agents Tournament hosted by AGI House mid-Nov. 🐺🤖
💰 Big thanks to Sentient Foundation for organizing and sponsoring the hackathon and Fireworks AI for the computing credits! We'll make good use of the $500 cash rewards and $5000 AWS credits.
👏 Congratulations to the winning teams!
🥇1st place - Tarun Raheja, Nilay Pochhi, Manjit Chakravarthy Manukonda
🥈2nd place - Aydar Akhmetzyanov, Dhawal Modi, Lily (Yunxuan) Zhu, Vince R
🥉3rd place - Clay Schubiner, Alexander Blickenstaff
🙌 Shout-out to my teammates Leo Jiang (the mastermind behind our bot) and Van Nguyen (on-site optimization and debugging)!
- Leo's strategy is to stay alive by building trust with other bots, and not listen to other bots to prevent injection.
- Van's original strategy was to leverage #GameTheory and #ReinforcementLearning but it didn't get to converge before submission.

🎲 This hackathon is special to me because it combines two of my passions: #AI and #Boardgames. Spot (by Boston Dynamics) dressing up as a wolf and some of us (Kai Hayden, Hoa Mai, Aydar, Lily, Vitaly, Xenia, Yiyang and my team) playing in-person games made it a memorable day!
