Check out our very own John Capobianco discussing the art of the possible leveraging Selectors Network AI with one of our partners MDSi, Inc. Alert fatigue is real, and our solution is not a myth! Eliminate your alert fatigue today with Selector, and take your time back from all the noisy alerts. #artificialintelligence #machinelearning #LLM #AI #networks #technology #innovation
There are many compelling uses for AI, but one of the most practical we’ve seen comes from a partner we work with called Selector. Their product uses ML to establish an understanding of your network and AI so you can ask it questions using natural language. Can you imagine? No longer having to sift through dozens of alerts each day? In the clip below Selector Product Evangelist John Capobianco explains its capabilities in greater detail. If you’d like more information, go to selector.ai, listen to the Selector episode on the Heavy Networking podcast, or contact your MDSi rep to set up a demo. #artificialintelligence #machinelearning #LLM #AI #networks #technology #innovation

A new Network World article explores Selector's journey to $33 million Series B funding, formally announced yesterday. 📰 The article reflects on Selector's background as well as our enduring vision to build technology that helps networking professionals better operate and optimize network infrastructure and services. The series B funding, which comes on the heels of our network language model (NLM) debut, will enable the company to grow sales and marketing while accelerating technical innovation. Other key takeaways from the article include: 🎯 One of Selector's key differentiators is its ability to use any type of data that an operations team collects across its network and infrastructure. 🎯 In aggregating and correlating events across domains, Selector enables a critical reduction in the amount of alerts that typically plague network operations teams. 🎯 Looking ahead, Selector plans to focus on two key technologies: data-driven digital twins to accurately identify issues without impacting production networks as well as expanded large language models for NetOps that incorporate real-time data. 👉 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/eKFffTxG #ai #artificialintelligence #machinelearning #networkoperations #Selector #SelectorAI

Thanks Sean M. Kerner for an amazing writeup of Selector. We are excited for what the future brings with this new round of funding. We are focused on continuing to innovate and create solutions for our customers to maximize the potential of their networks!
Kannan Kothandaraman shared some of his insights with me about the challenges of network operations and management and where his company Selector is headed, as it raises new $$ for the road ahead. “Some customers have like 30-40 different tools that they are using, each of them starts to complain whenever there is an issue,” Kothandaraman told me. “The number one criteria that we are judged on is noise reduction.”

Today, Selector announced the close of its $33M Series B funding round. The funding was led by Ansa Capital, joined by new investors AT&T Ventures, Bell Ventures, Singtel Innov8, and Hyperlink Ventures, along with existing investors Two Bear Capital, Atlantic Bridge, and Sinewave Ventures. The funding will accelerate the development and adoption of Selector's novel AIOps solution, which is already deployed by some of the world's largest telecommunications and enterprise companies. The related press release highlights key reasons for Selector's continued and impressive growth, including: - The proliferation of network monitoring tools and data generated by them, coupled with today's 24/7 performance demands, have overwhelmed the ability of teams to manually troubleshoot and fix issues. - Selector leverages AI to instantaneously identify the origin of network issues, eliminating 90% of standard repair time and enabling companies to improve the service delivery of mission-critical services while protecting revenue generation. - Selector's AI engine facilitates troubleshooting and service optimization by interfacing with the industry’s first network language model (NLM), enabling teams to have real-time conversations with their full-stack data in human language. - Selector stands as the first and only AIOps solution specifically focused on network performance.
