This is what the giving season is all about. Every year, Scully Company sets up a toy donation box in our office before the holidays to benefit James Russell Lowell Elementary School in Philadelphia's Olney area. This year, we were absolutely blown away by the amount of donations received! The generosity of our employees is truly inspiring. Congrats to our cornhole champs! 💪   Over the past few weeks, Scully Company held three cornhole tournaments to spark some friendly competition between our teams and raise money for Project HOME. One tournament consisted of corporate office employees, another was comprised of coworkers from various local communities, and another with our Hatfield Village Apartments teams. Together we raised $640 to support Project HOME and their mission to to empower families and individuals to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, addressing its root causes and helping everyone reach their full potential.   This was a fun way to foster teamwork, enjoy the fall sunshine, and make a difference in our communities.   #ScullyPride #teambuilding #cornholetournament #corporatelife #teamwork #ProjectHOME

Over fall break, I had the incredible opportunity to sit in on a business meeting with Scully Company to gain firsthand experience in strategic business strategies and the art of negotiation and brainstorming within a corporate atmosphere. I am beyond thankful for the chance to learn from such accomplished professionals who showcased the real-world importance of communication, effective presentation, and strategic business interaction. Witnessing these elements come to life reinforced the value of my education, as I saw how seamlessly the concepts and skills I am learning in school apply to a career setting.
