UKSC proudly recognizes Halee Edison, MSN, RN, HACP-CMS, Charge Nurse for ICU. Supporting a mentoring and succession plan, Halee is a great example of an emerging clinical nurse leader who utilized hospital programs promoting professional development and lifelong learning. In December, Halee graduated with her MSN from Chamberlain University with a concentration in clinical leadership. In addition, she obtained national certification in Healthcare Accreditation—Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (HACP-CMS) through CIHQ. “Individuals who achieve this certification demonstrate mastery of subject matter addressing a wide variety of standards by CMS and the major accreditation providers” (CIHQ, 2024). UKSC is pursuing the journey for ANCC credentialing and is devoted to the professional advancement of nursing and employees across the enterprise.
