I'm using my first Linkedin post to share two major milestones in my life! After an incredible journey, I’ve graduated from NYU with a Master’s in Real Estate Finance. This experience was transformative, providing me with invaluable connections and skills that I’m excited to bring into the next chapter of my career. I began the program looking to transition from Real Estate Operations to Real Estate Finance or Development. And it helped me do just that, I’ve moved to Salt Lake City to join Oakwood Development Group as the Associate Manager of Development. I’m eager to contribute to their vision and growth, applying what I’ve learned to make a tangible impact in the local markets and get deals under my belt. To my NYU classmates, professors, and mentors, thank you for shaping this journey and for the memories I’ll always treasure. Thanks to my wife who has supported me through both endeavors, which I couldn't have done without her. To my new colleagues and investors at Oakwood Development Group, I can’t wait to see where we go!

I gained a financial investment analysis approach geared towards investor perspective, return metrics, deals in the present market cycle, and the effects of the real estate market from the financial crisis in 2008, including the development process and feasibility, debt fund structures and its participants, the strategic use of debt and equity investments, valuation methods, investment strategy, portfolio risk management and risk management between partners, asset level performance capabilities, shifting dynamics in the capital markets environment and market supply and demand factors. Elective courses I took and industry areas I am passionate about are Green Building and Sustainable Development, Real Estate Investing in a Distressed Environment, Developing Residential Multi-Family, Analyzing REIT Securities, and Real Estate Private Equity. The New York University NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate Masters is incredibly unique and I am honored to have learned from esteemed professionals as professors, in speaker events, and colleagues. I look forward to new ventures in commercial real estate and building upon professional relationships ahead!
