On January 22nd, 2025 6:30-8:30pm, join Lee Mindel, Principal at SheltonMindel & owner of Galerie56, along with SARA NY President, Christian Bailey, for a discussion about art and democracy focused on the exhibition, Swedish Grace, a succinct survey of how the past can inform the future, and an exhibition that explores the expression of democratic themes in design. This SARA ART conversation will start at 7pm and will include access to view Swedish Grace. Due to space capacity, this event is restricted to 30 RSVPs. On October 9-11, 2024 SARA NY hosted our 2nd annual SARA ART Exhibition at Brickworks Design Studio, sponsored by Sherwin-Williams. We had over 150 guests in attendance at our opening night reception where we celebrated the artwork of 40 architects, interior designers, landscape architects, civil engineers, and student architects. We also held an amazing conversation with Gabriel Calatrava of CAL - Collaborative Architecture Laboratory, moderated by SARA NY Board President P Christian Bailey. *Some artworks are still available for sale; see link below for more info. 2024 SARA ART Submissions SARA NY invites Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, and Students who are also Artists, to submit their artistic projects to this annual art show, SARA ART. This year's exhibition will be held October 9-11th, hosted at Brickworks Design Studio, and sponsored by Sherwin Williams. Submission fees and event entries will go towards funding SARA NY Student Scholarships.
