We're incredibly excited and proud to announce that we’ve expanded our covered therapy services to every corner of the country. Patients seeking mental health support can now access covered therapy through Rula in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Our national expansion means that even more people can find the support they need through in-network, covered therapy and psychiatry services. And while this growth builds on our years of experience, with over 10,000 licensed providers and millions of hours of therapy facilitated since 2019, the work doesn't stop here. Hi! My name is Masha Aseeva! I'm a Software Engineer on the Patient Experience team and I started at Rula in January '23. Working as an engineer at Rula has deepened my focus on mental health—not just personally, but within my team and across the organization. It’s become clear to me how many of humanity’s challenges are tied to mental health. Like physical health, neglecting mental health for too long can have life-altering consequences. I’ve personally experienced the struggles of finding the right therapist or psychiatrist, navigating insurance for coverage, and seeking specialized trauma-focused treatments like EMDR. Rula provides a way to overcome those challenges. My team—and the candidates in our pipeline—share a foundational sense of compassion, driven by a deep understanding of Rula’s mission. Each of us has our own unique story that connects us to the work we do. #mentalhealthmatters #employeespotlight

Building a flexible schedule as a provider allows you to reduce work-related stressors and create routines that are better for your well-being. For example, some therapists in private practice might work three or four days a week with slightly longer hours. So even if they commute to an office they no longer need to do so every day. And therapists who choose to shift to an entirely digital practice no longer need to commute at all! Of course, you might enjoy meeting clients in-person sometimes (and this can be a benefit for them as well). But working flexibly allows you to choose how often those in-person appointments occur. Teletherapy is here to stay. Clients want it, insurers are continuing to cover it, and many providers love it too. Teletherapy is a very different dynamic than in-person services. In person, therapists can pick up on the energy and body language in the room and use that to strengthen the therapeutic alliance. The truth is that in teletherapy, even if the camera’s on, some of those cues are harder to pick up on. There are some ways, however, that teletherapy actually makes building the therapeutic alliance more successful. Read more over on the blog: https://lnkd.in/eUeEM8ua #therapy #therapists #teletherapy
