Making magic in Dublin! ✨ Roto is a premier experience design and production firm serving museums, aquariums, zoos and attractions. Founded in 2004, Roto unites interactive experiences with architecture and fabrication for multigenerational audiences. Their Dublin headquarters also serves as a learning lab where adults and children are invited to provide hands-on feedback about exhibits in production. I collaborated with the talented exhibit designers at Roto on the Reimagined Nauticus to create a 12x20-foot mural map for the Our Port exhibit. The map highlights Norfolk’s 20+ maritime entities—naval bases, shipyards, tunnels, and more—that work together to keep one of the nation’s busiest ports running. Through strategic use of color and intricate detail, the mural brings this complex network to life for visitors.

Another incredible IAAPA Expo wrapped up for Roto! Last week was a whirlwind of innovation, insight, and inspiration – both on the expo floor and off – as we connected with amazing friends and colleagues and explored how themed entertainment and museums are pushing the boundaries of immersive storytelling to captivate guests worldwide. We had a phenomenal time hosting the Atlanta History Center team at Roto to share a sneak peek of their new interactive children’s exhibit as it comes to life right on our production floor. Set to open in January 2025, this multisensory exhibit will offer AHC guests a unique way to experience their city through immersive play, exploration, and storytelling.
