About us
A chartered club of Rotary International, Rotary Club of Baton Rouge is one of the largest of over 30,000 Rotary clubs in the world. Our Club is comprised of over 500 business and professional leaders from the greater Baton Rouge area. Since its founding on October 1, 1918, the club has been known for its fellowship and service to the community. Rotary Club of Baton Rouge Foundation, the charitable arm of the club, contributes thousands of dollars to help support projects endorsed by the club.

District Attorney Hillar Moore is an active member of our Rotary Club. He spoke to the club on December 4, 2024 about "Crime 2024". At that same meeting he met with some of the students from Thrive Academy. Thrive is a boarding school for students across the state. The Rotary Club of Baton Rouge has also formed an Interact Club at Thrive.
