  • When you support Room to Read, you promote long-term systemic change. ➡️ Change like the kind we're accelerating in #Cambodia through our partnership with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, which has adopted Room to Read’s life skills curriculum for use in lower secondary schools nationwide, ensuring every child in Cambodia can develop life skills that promote gender equality. ➡️ Change like the kind we're promoting in #SouthAfrica as we roll out undergraduate curricula on teaching reading and children’s literature in African languages, preparing the next generation of teachers to enter the classroom well-prepared to nurture strong reading skills and habits. ➡️ And change like the kind we're advancing in #Bangladesh through our partnership with the Directorate of Primary Education, building classroom libraries, creating storybooks and developing national guidelines for a dedicated weekly reading and writing period for all children in grades 3 through 5. 🔗 This #GivingTuesday, invest in Room to Read and invest in lasting change: https://okt.to/DTX10J #WorldChangeStartswithEducatedChildren #GivingTuesday2025

  • Room to Read is accelerating our work in the Middle East in response to urgent needs. As children arrive in shelters and refugee camps in Northern Lebanon, Room to Read's Arabic language books await them. In collaboration with partners, we are providing learning materials alongside food kits, making sure that children stay nourished in mind and body. And we’re training shelter staff to provide socio-emotional support to children and families. 🔗 Invest in lasting change: https://okt.to/xaVCIu Room to Read adapts our programming to meet the unique, complex needs of children, making room for learning in times of peace and in times of crisis. This #GivingTuesday, you can invest in immediate and lasting change for children in the Middle East and around the world. 📚 🫶 Help ensure all children have access to education, no matter the circumstances: https://okt.to/6ZKIk0
