We hope that children find more than bugs and worms in nature. We hope they find a moment of peace or a new friend. Today, on Giving Tuesday, we hope you will support our efforts to help everyone in Greater Rochester (especially children) find nature where they live, work, and play with a Roc The Day donation. Thank you for creating a hopeful future with us. https://lnkd.in/gpFKuDra

We cultivate a healthy, equitable, and sustainable community through nature based learning and community building.
About us
The Rochester Ecology Partners improve community connectedness through the power of nature. Our organization works to improve individual, community, and environmental well-being and contributes to an educational system that connects people in our city to nature, the places they live, and each other. By building these relationships we will encourage the adoption of an ecological mindset in our community where there is a better understanding of the relationship between our social and environmental systems. Our community’s most pressing challenges can be solved with an approach that considers how everything is connected.

We believe that every child in Greater Rochester deserves to enjoy the benefits of nature and we hope you can help us make that happen with a donation to our WildWonder program. https://lnkd.in/ggTTvg-t WildWonder is our nature-based learning program that gets students out of the classroom and into nature during their school day. Nature-based learning leads to healthy development for children by improving academic outcomes, promoting wellness, and cultivating community. Your donation will help make incredible things happen. Thank you.

We are excited to announce that Rochester Ecology Partners has moved into a new home at 224 Mt Hope Ave! The South Wedge Planning Committee has generously agreed to share their space with us and we feel it will be an excellent fit. The space itself has everything we need: office space, program prep space, and even somewhere to get hot chocolate ready while we wash hats and gloves. We are particularly excited about the fact it is directly across from the newly renovated Genesee Gateway Park (kayak meetings anyone?). What truly makes it a terrific opportunity is the chance to build our relationship with a mission-aligned community partner. The coming months will be filled with more of what we hoped to be and do when we launched REP and we hope you will join us in making this transition. https://lnkd.in/gZCUqmQi
