The RMachine team had the opportunity to attend the Defense Tech Valley Investment Summit 2024, organized by BRAVE1, a leading cluster dedicated to the development of military technologies in Ukraine. Over the course of two days, the event showcased a range of cutting-edge defense solutions — from underwater unmanned vehicles (UUVs) to tactical gear and advanced software for electronic warfare and threat detection. The event featured keynotes from government officials, dynamic panel discussions with global investors, and ample networking opportunities with potential investors, fellow innovators, military representatives, and some of the fastest-growing miltech startups in the region. We were particularly impressed by the international presence, especially from the United States, as attendees sought to explore the state of the defense product market in Ukraine. It’s one thing to develop technology in a lab or test on controlled ranges, and quite another to test it in live combat conditions, where real-time enemy tactics, advanced electronic warfare, and unpredictable terrain demand rapid innovation and adaptation. One of the start-up guys has become our friend, and look at the cool solutions they've created, so now everyone can join the online first aid training simulator on LifesaverSIM what are the mandatory skills for every Ukrainian nowadays. Ukraine is currently a proving ground for some of the world’s most sophisticated defense solutions, with innovations driven by necessity on the battlefield.
