Really there is a hotelification happening in all spaces - retail, homes, communities. It’s about creating opportunity to connect, feel creative, and feel time moving a little more slowly even in our fast paced lives. We’ve increasingly integrated wellness rooms, healthy food pantries, nature rooms, lounges, and multisensories elements - this pushes the concept even further…and I love it!

For me architecture and design is a practice of alchemy where you work with the client to create something meaningful and personal. Today was the ground breaking for the Green Bay Public Market, a project I feel immense gratitude to have been selected as Architect as it goals are creating community, urban vitality and activation and economic development. It’s about shaping the future through community. Being based in Nj it’s a big deal to work on a project in a tight knit community, but Green Bay means a lot to me. My family has been part of the fabric of the city for 5 generations. From farmers, to entrepreneurs, to developers, builders, and elected officials. My grandfather was an Alderman, President of the City Council and Chaired the GB Redevelopment Authority. He worked on many developments in Green Bay including Lambeau Field and, I recently learned, this very building Old Fort Square, soon to be The Green Bay Public Market. This Project isn’t just professional, it’s personal. The public market will be filled with curated tenants and d activated by seating areas with various personalities, local art Installations, and interactive elements.
