  • Last month, we hosted an in-person and virtual all-employee meeting in downtown Winston-Salem, NC, bringing together colleagues from our headquarters building, research and development center, and nearby field teams. The meeting covered key priorities for 2025, reiterated our focus on Building a Smokeless World, recognized outstanding contributions in 2024, and gave colleagues the opportunity to network and meet others that they may not see regularly. We appreciate all who joined and participated and give a special thanks to the Business Communications & Sustainability team who made this incredible event a success!

  • An article in the Winston-Salem Journal shares how the Reynolds American organization is collaborating with Happy Dirt , a nonprofit that aggregates, distributes, and markets organic produce, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC to bring organic produce from North Carolina farmers to families in need. Read more below about Second Harvest’s announcement of two respective $100,00 donations from Reynolds American Inc. and the Reynolds American Foundation to support initiatives to increase the availability of fresh, healthy produce across the food bank’s 18-county service area while supporting local NC farmers. “Bringing Happy Dirt, Second Harvest, and Reynolds together to help collaborate and bring fresh produce into Second Harvest to then feed back into our communities was just a natural fit,” said Kara Calderon, a senior director of community engagement with Reynolds. “Especially now at the holidays, making sure that we can get fresh produce into people’s kitchens.” Click the link to read the full article by Connor McNeely ⤵️

  • We’re here at Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC’s headquarters in Winston-Salem, NC to celebrate the first distribution of produce from Happy Dirt , an organization that pools diverse harvests from an extensive network of organic farms in NC and beyond. We are proud to be part of this unique collaboration that will strengthen farmer livelihoods, advance environmental sustainability through organic produce farming and distribution, and deliver healthy, nutritious meals food insecure households in need. Today, over 425 families received fresh produce to enjoy this holiday season, and that’s only just the start! We look forward to seeing the positive impact of this collaboration in the months ahead.

  • This year, as part of their Global Giving Campaign, the NYSE asked listed companies to share their efforts to help those in need and raise awareness for the many essential organizations supported by the NYSE Community. Reynolds American’s parent company, BAT, is listed on the NYSE and we are proud for the global BAT Group to participate and shine a light on the American Red Cross disaster relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene's damage in Western North Carolina, the home state of Reynolds American. Each listed company and charitable organization’s custom ornaments will hang on the holiday trees at the NYSE entrance until the end of the year. #NYSETreeLighting
