This Saturday, Reworld Waste had the honor of laying wreaths at Alexandria National Cemetery to pay tribute to our brave veterans. It was a cherished moment to pause and remember those who fought to protect our nation’s freedom. As a proud corporate partner of the Wreaths Across America program, Reworld Waste is committed to supporting their mission. In January, we will assist with the post-holiday wreath disposal, providing a no-cost, sustainable solution and ensuring all metal frames are recycled. We are grateful to play a role in honoring our heroes while promoting sustainability.

Remembering the fallen, honoring those who served and teaching the next generation the value of freedom, was the core mission of yesterday’s volunteer day with Wreaths Across America. Reworld Waste brought a dedicated crew to Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale to assist with the wreath laying of over 16,000 holiday wreaths on the graves of some of our fallen servicemen and women. This holiday tradition has become a favorite of the folks at Reworld and gives us the opportunity to pause during a hectic time in remembrance of those who so valiantly fought to protect our freedoms. Reworld Waste has proudly been a corporate partner of Wreaths Across America for many years by sponsoring the post-holiday wreath disposal in January. We are so proud of our ongoing commitment to Long Island veterans and happy to provide a sustainable, no cost, disposal option where all metal frames will get recycled!
