💥 Exciting news 💥 Reset is excited to announce our launch with MSU Federal Credit Union! MSUFCU members and employees now have free on-demand access to their pay, coupled with automated cashflow budgeting tools. Reset’s Earned Wage Access (EWA) platform makes it significantly easier to cover everyday and emergency expenses without waiting for payday, while also helping members build savings. Ben Maxim, Chief Innovation Officer at MSUFCU, shared: “Many current solutions for EWA come with high fees and no help to build a safety net leading to a more secure financial future. By piloting Reset’s no-fee, income-linked smart card with a select group of members, we believe we can empower them to access their wages as they earn them and give them greater control over their finances.” Thanks to Benjamin Maxim, Filip Danielewicz, Meredith Nicholoff (Williams), and Elexus Manwaring and the broader MSUFCU team for all of their collaboration and efforts! 👉 Check out the press release here: https://lnkd.in/ghs_qHxm 🏦 Learn more about how your credit union or bank can partner with Reset: https://lnkd.in/gwBHiYDa

From being the grandson of a tire salesman and bricklayer, to working at Visa, graduating from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and starting a fintech company to help working class Americans achieve financial health, our co-founder and CEO Matt Dicou speaks with Amit Chowdhry about what motivated him to start Reset with Wes Rodriguez and Brian Mascarenhas. "There are 167 million workers in the U.S. There is huge potential to transform how frequently people access their pay and make waiting two weeks for your pay a thing of the past.” #financialhealth #financetips #fintechnews #founders #creditunion #communitybank #financialwellness #stanfordgsb

Matt Dicou attended business school at Stanford to build a company that would help alleviate how expensive it is to be poor in the U.S. Did you know...? 💥 More than 65% of Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck, and 50% of financially vulnerable individuals have less than one week of financial savings. 🦈 Many folks, while trying to make ends meet and waiting for their paycheck, incur significant fees from predatory loan alternatives, overdraft, and late bills. ⛔ 💵 The net result is that financially vulnerable Americans are paying ~5.5x more fees than those who are financially healthier. Congrats Matt Dicou, Wes Rodriguez, and Brian Mascarenhas on Reset's recent feature on the NASDAQ billboard and launch of the Reset Visa card and financial companion app to support working families in accessing their earnings and managing finances. You rock! Read the full story and check out the great photo of Matt, Wes and Brian here: https://lnkd.in/gfJdYqrY #Fintech #FinancialInclusion

Reset launches today! 🎉 Our team at Reset is very excited to share some big news. After raising a $2.3M pre-seed in 2023 and building in stealth, we announced the launch of Reset earlier this week from NYC. The Reset card saw its debut in Times Square on the NASDAQ billboard. Thanks to Ryan Lawler at Axios for the great article covering Reset’s fundraise and launch (linked in comments)! When trying to make ends meet, too many individuals in the U.S. are met with late fees on mistimed bills, overdraft fees when balances dip negative, and high-interest payday loans – all simply in an attempt to bridge the gap between paychecks. We knew there had to be a better way – so we built it! For the 60% of Americans living paycheck-to-paycheck, the Reset card combines daily access to earned income with streamlined budgeting and financial planning. With the Reset card and Financial Companion app, you can: 🙌 Access your income daily as you earn it – including from payroll, gig, and government benefit streams – with no interest, monthly, or late fees 🙅♂️ Avoid predatory financial services that trap you in cycles of debt 🧠 Get real-time insight into your income, spending, and upcoming bills 💳 Use the Reset card anywhere Visa cards are accepted in the U.S. 🏦 Keep using your existing bank account Here are some of the great investors supporting us on our mission: Precursor Ventures (Charles Hudson), Moai Capital (Brian Jacobs), J4.Ventures (Bruce Jaffe), Endurance Companies (N. Alex Tonelli, Ed Leathers), Pear VC (Mar Hershenson), Meridian Ventures (Devon Gethers, Karlton Haney), Wemimo Abbey and Samir Goel Esusu (Co-CEOs of Esusu), and Evan Moore (Co-Founder of DoorDash), Russell Siegelman (impact angel), Albert P. Lee (angel / family investor), in addition to other mission-aligned operators in the financial services, technology, and social impact sectors. We invite you to follow our journey.
