Today, Related Affordable announced a partnership with St. Mary Development Corporation to preserve and rehabilitate five affordable housing apartment communities in Montgomery County, Ohio. The communities include Northcrest Gardens (Eagle Ridge), Albright Apartments, Pinewood Gardens, Asbury Apartments, and Mad River Manor. During this holiday season, Related Midwest, Related Affordable Foundation, and Related Affordable Property Operations hosted a festive event for Circle Park Apartments residents. Families enjoyed sweet treats and posed for portraits with Santa. During the event, Related Affordable Foundation, in partnership with ChiGivesBack, Inc, organized gift giveaways for children and adults, providing every child in attendance with a present.

This year for Thanksgiving, Related teams around the country celebrated the season with residents and communities by hosting festive events and giveaways. Related Northwest partnered with Walsh Construction Co. and the Housing Authority of Clackamas County to distribute hams and turkeys to residents of the Hillside Park community in Milwaukie, OR. In New York City, team members from Related, development partner Essence, and Wynn distributed Thanksgiving pies and side dishes to residents of Fulton and Elliott-Chelsea Houses. In Boston, the Related Beal team volunteered at St. Peter's Lithuanian Church and Parish, serving lunch and preparing Thanksgiving turkeys for Shirley's Pantry. Garden Gate Apartments in Forth Worth, TX, hosted a Friendsgiving Friday communal meal. Thank you to our dedicated teams and to all our residents who made these events meaningful!
