Just Posted!!! The seventh and final batch of responses to comments submitted after May 23, 2024 are now available on the SEWP VI Website. NOTE: This seventh batch includes 131 responses. Batch 7 concludes the response to all questions submitted through the SEWP Comment Tool through Dec. 17, 2024. Please note: The NASA SEWP Comment tool located at https://lnkd.in/eKE4PvpK will be open for Comments and questions from December 18, 2024 to 5pm EST December 20, 2024. The government will only respond to questions submitted through the Comment Tool. A quick bit of advice regarding submitting questions that I heard from Joanne Woytek, Director of NASA SEWP, at the Washington Technology Event on December 6th: The comment tool allows offerors to see the questions others are submitting in a real-time format. Please review to see if the question has been asked already. If you see the question that you are submitting, submitting it again will only require the government to take more time in answering questions. The US Army held their DC3oE Event yesterday where there were updates on the upcoming $10B, 10-year, Modern Software Development (MSD) IDIQ that is scheduled to be released this January from Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG). A new Draft RFP will be released this month that should have the updates listed below included. Here is a summary of the updates from yesterday: Factor 1: Corporate Experience updated minimum requirements, streamlined instructions updated specialized experience to include commercial equivalency Factor 4: Ultimate Tech Challenge Clarified that AI tools will not be used for this challenge accionvegana to vendor environment v. GitLab Updated specific metrics Modified Ultimate Tech Challenge submission and Rapid Fire Session Elements Factor 5: Management Approach Factor Condensed Changed to Adjectival Ratings The Army stated that their intent is to remove the SB Participation Factor and the Qualified Subcontractor Pool.  They also want to have a minimum of 10 Small Business Awardees whether that is through percentage of awardees or a hard requirement.  They will also include language to clarify the intent for open architectures v. restricting proprietary solutions. A 2nd Draft will be released in December with a final RFP release in January, with proposals due in February and award in March.  That's an aggressive timeline for a 3 phase down-select procurement!!
