This list is remarkable. We just finished the last RESO board meeting of the year. RESO elected another board of directors that's unmatched in the industry. I've been sitting on the roof deck recalling all we've accomplished in 2024. Our board, members, and staff moved mountains this year: -Expanded RESO membership into 4 new continents -Hosted two RESO conferences in Alabama and Texas, the International MLS Forum in Italy with European Association of Real Estate Professions (CEPI aisbl), and a Developers Workshop in Seattle -Grew attendance and sponsorship at every event -Onboarded NAR Global, CMLS - Council of Multiple Listing Services , and FIABCI, The International Real Estate Federation as official industry partners of the International MLS Forum, which had 50 countries represented in Milan -Signed an accord to host the international forum in Toronto with Toronto Regional Real Estate Board in 2025 and in Abu Dhabi with ADRES in 2026 -Managed a RESO promotion presence at the African Real Estate Conference and Expo in Ghana -Partnered with the The Canadian Real Estate Association | L'Association canadienne de l'immobilier to create the first draft of the Canadian version of RESO's Working with Real Estate Data course -Registered our 1,300th student for the RED-B course -Certified 60+ MLSs on the new Data Dictionary 2.0 standard -Released RESO Analytics' new Industry, Provider, and Market Alignment Reports -Created the "Windows to the World" animated Data Dictionary feature on reso.org and completed a full web content overhaul -Built a comprehensive Knowledge Base and seven category FAQs with 200 Q&As -Published the first industrywide analysis of MLS data shares as a white paper and national map -Published a case study on one of the most complete modularizations of MLS software services for customer product choice by Doorify MLS -Onboarded rental and commercial real estate companies to grow the Data Dictionary's resources -Ratified and onboarded first implementers for Universal Parcel Identifier (UPI) v2.0 -Ratified and onboarded first implementers for RESO Common Format (RCF) -Ratified and onboarded first implementers for Web API Add/Edit -Ratified and onboarded first implementers for Webhooks Push and Entity Event Log -Mapped 400,000 aggregator local-to-standard field suggestions to improve certification systems -Began development of some exciting new server and client customer-facing technical products for 2025 -Grew membership, revenue, assets, reserves, industry utilization of Data Dictionary and Web API standards and, most importantly, better technology experiences and data outcomes for real estate professionals.
