👀 Look what I just found: the Linker manual from RCS ! The Selector manual has always had pride of place on my office bookshelf, but stumbling across the Linker manual feels like uncovering a hidden gem. Spanning 868 pages, the Selector manual taught me nearly everything I know about music scheduling. It’s a book that demanded real focus and effort to master, ensuring every detail worked seamlessly in crafting a great music schedule. For me, Selector remains the ultimate guide to music scheduling, a timeless resource for anyone serious about the art of programming. Even 34 years later, I still enjoy leafing through its pages, and now and then, it even comes in handy when I’m using GSelector! The Linker manual, though much slimmer at 126 pages, feels even rarer today. Together, these RCS manuals represent an era where human intuition and creativity were at the core of music programming — skills that remain just as valuable, even in a world of advanced technology. These manuals are treasures — reminders of the dedication and craft that shaped radio programming. 📖❤️
