🇦🇺 Great to see our 920CT & TRS system now starting to be deployed at Brisbane Airport Corporation - a great achievement for everyone involved in transforming BNE.
In a major milestone moment, the first screening lane using the future-state standard three Rapiscan Systems has been deployed at the Qantas Premium screening location at the Domestic Terminal and is now operational and screening cabin luggage. 16 more of these enhanced screening lanes will be rolled-out across the Domestic Terminal by next Christmas in alignment with the Australian Federal Government's 2017 mandate to enhance aviation security by implementing new ‘standard three’ security equipment to meet global standards already active in the United States and Europe. Work is underway in the central part of the Domestic Terminal to create direct access from the car park along the Skywalk and into a brand-new screening point that will house more of these state-of-the-art screening machines with temporary passenger screening points relocated to both ends of the terminal to make space for construction to take place.
