Tom Selmo began his journey as an agricultural technician in 2004. His career in agriculture, however, started much earlier. Right after graduating from high school in the 1970s, Tom began working on tractors and farms in Antigo. Before joining Riesterer, he honed his skills by building sprayers for Gallenburg Farms. For 15 years, Tom served as a dedicated road AG tech, providing invaluable support and expertise. About five years ago, he transitioned to the Lawn and Garden division, where he continues to apply his extensive knowledge and experience. Tom’s commitment and adaptability over the past two decades have made him an integral part of our team. In his off time, Tom is an avid fisherman, traveling to Canada and surrounding states. He also enjoys hunting in the fall, bowling every Thursday and cheering for his favorite teams, the Packers of course, and the Brewers. Tom’s incredible knowledge and expertise amaze us every single day! We appreciate him more than he could ever know! #RandS #JohnDeere #Careers
