We are thrilled to share our latest milestone - a significant expansion to create an inclusive space for a wide range of LGBTQIA2+ services, all under one roof! As a licensed group practice, we now offer counseling, case management, UA's, BA's, youth services for ages 13 and up, clinical groups, in addition to our Peer Support Services and Sober Living program. This marks a crucial step in our mission to provide a comprehensive range of services within a safe, LGBTQIA2+ focused organization. Seeking help can be challenging when uncertain about respect, fair treatment, misgendering, or accessing Gender Affirming Care. With this expansion, we are proud to offer a dedicated place for care. Stay tuned as we continue to expand our offerings to include PHP, MAT treatment, IOP, Psychiatry Services, and Med Management in the coming months. About us
Purple Mountain Recovery is a 501 (3)(c) founded in July of 2022 to create a safe place in the LGBTQIA+ community for people recovering from mental health and/or addiction. The name Purple Mountain is a nod to the founder's mother, who stood by his side and envisioned a world where everyone had access to the same care as he battled living in a world where many resources or safe places were not available to the LGBTQIA+ community while they were struggling with their recovery. We are members of the LGBTQIA2+ community and our allies with lived experience in mental health and substance use disorder. We know how difficult it can be to access resources and receive the level of support needed to heal because we have faced many of these same challenges We believe everyone deserves equal access to these resources and support. We aim to erase the stigmas that surround addiction, harm reduction, mental health, and recovery in our community and beyond.

Seats are limited to 12 people. 6 months in recovery from mental health, substance use, or co-occuring required. Email us at training@purplemountainrecovery.org with the followimg: Why you want to be a peer, what a peer does in your words, and a bit about yourself and journey! Prefrence given to those in the LGBTQIA2+ community, BIPOV, and justice involved lived experience. This is a grant funded opportunity provided by the Colorado Behavioral Health Administration.
