Our “Student Spotlight” this week features Namezeno Pookat! Originally from Bengaluru, the Silicon Valley of India, Namezeno earned his Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering in 2022. Following graduation, Zeno worked as a Systems Engineer at Siemens Gamesa for two years, focusing on optimizing operations and maintenance processes for wind turbines. Now at Purdue MEM, he continues his passion for sustainability through an impactful carbon emissions mapping project, consulting for a global supply chain client. In his free time, Zeno enjoys following Formula 1, reading non-fiction, and playing billiards. This week’s “Student Spotlight” features Aryak Dixit, CAPM®! Originally from the charming coastal town of Bhavnagar, Gujarat, Aryak was raised in Mumbai for the majority of his life. He completed his undergrad in Chemical Engineering from Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, Mumbai. His professional experience spans consulting and research, with a significant tenure in R&D at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), where he focused on lithium extraction from sea water. Aryak brings a diverse set of skills shaped by his technical background and consulting experience. Outside of his academic and professional pursuits, Aryak has a strong interest in graphic design, literature, and film analysis. #PurdueUniversity #Engineering #EngineeringManagement

🎉 Congratulations to the Purdue University team of MEM students Farah Fallah Toosi, Maya Mishra, and Anthony Stoa, and Computer Science Master's student Amir Basareh, on placing 2nd in the national Data 4 Good Case Competition! 🎉 In this competition, the team's mission was to leverage the transformative power of AI and data analytics to enhance the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors' (TAPS) ability to support grieving military families. In their final presentation, the team aimed to uncover gaps and limitations in the current Survivor Journey Map by designing an AI-driven system to analyze data logs.
