Second time founder building something new

I recently read the 2023 TIAA Institute report on "Financial well-being and literacy in a high-inflation environment" and have been thinking about this a lot - "On average, U.S. adults typically spend more than eight hours per week thinking about and dealing with issues and problems related to personal finances, which is equivalent to an entire workday." 8 hours/week is a LOT of time to be worried about your finances, that's a whole working day (or 3/4th of a working day for us here at Pull). Heck even 4 hours/week is a lot and that's what adults who have a VERY HIGH level of financial literacy are spending. Employers who are not paying attention to the financial stress their employees are under are making it harder for them to contribute to their highest potential. Personal finance is no longer just "personal", its coming to work with them. If you want your employees to be doing their best work, focusing on their financial well-being is no longer a nice-to-have, it's a must-have. Here's the chart with the detailed distribution of how much time the 3,500+ respondents said they spend worrying about personal finance. P-Fin index survey is a barometer of financial literacy among US adults. If you're interested in reading the entire report, the link is in the comments below 👇
