I traveled back with some exciting news and awards in hand, after last week's SFR Industry Awards! I was priviledged to accept two awards: an SFR Rising Star award and the ESG Initiative of the Year award for my company. 🏆 It's truly a great feeling to celebrate the fruits of your labor. This recognition solidifies the meaningful impact that we're contributing to the Single-Family Rental real estate industry. Earlier this year, Kieya Bailey joined my team and I have been incredibly grateful for her support over the last few months. Bringing home the Environmental, Social, and Governance Intiative of the Year award is a big win for The Promise Homes Company! We were also a finalist in the Excellence in Diversity award category. This week, mortgage rates continued their decline, providing relief to the tight U.S. housing market. The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate dropped to 6.09%, down from 6.20% last week and well below last fall’s peak of 7.79%. This marks the lowest level since February 2023, encouraging sidelined buyers as affordability improves. The Federal Reserve cut interest rates by 50 basis points for the first time in four years, signaling potential further cuts by year-end.   At The Promise Homes Company, we offer our Pathways to Homeownership program for our residents to take advantage of and begin their journey to homeownership.
