Our employees and retirees, alongside the PPG Foundation, volunteered and donated more than $1.05 million this year to our 2024 United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania campaign. In addition, our COLORFUL COMMUNITIES® program’s Day of Caring brought together 60 of our employee volunteers who spent the day revitalizing spaces at organizations the United Way supports. Our Women United team of more than 40 women were also dedicated to making a difference for all women in our community during the campaign. Our donations help United Way achieve its mission of improving communities by mobilizing resources, creating partnerships and helping our neighbors in need. #PPGproud #ProtectandBeautify

We are honored to be among the “Best Places to Work in Information Technology (IT) in 2025” by Computerworld. This is our seventh appearance on the prestigious list, which recognizes organizations that challenge their IT staffs while providing great benefits and compensation. “It’s a great honor to again be recognized for excellence in our Digital IT function,” said Bhaskar R., PPG vice president and chief information officer. “It reflects our focus on people development, as well as our commitment to harnessing the power of AI and the cloud environment. Our initiatives for global talent development, clear connection in our work to the business strategy and purpose, as well as a focus on modernizing and digitizing our organization is key to our collective success.” We ranked No.18 among large organizations on the 2025 list, which is compiled based on a comprehensive questionnaire about company offerings in categories such as benefits, career development, future of work, training and retention.

We have completed an on-site solar installation at our Caivano, Italy, facility that will enable progress toward our 2030 greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets. The project is part of a partnership with Grastim, a developer of high-efficiency energy generation solutions. The 1.5 megawatt solar installation represents a CO2 emission reduction of approximately 390 metric tons annually. Combined with a previously installed combined heat and power unit (CHP), the site is achieving an approximate 15% reduction in annual operating costs. “We’re committed to implementing processes and systems that will enable us to close in on our 2030 emissions reduction targets, which are validated by the Science Based Targets initiative,” said Michael Corcoran, PPG global manager, operational sustainability. “Caivano is a strong example of how we’re ensuring our sites operate in a more sustainable and operationally efficient way.” The on-site solar installation complements the CHP unit, which was installed by Grastim in 2021. The unit captures waste heat created when generating electricity to produce steam and hot water for the site, resulting in an annual reduction of approximately 1,100 metric tons of CO2 emissions. The Caivano facility manufactures electrocoat products for the industrial and automotive markets and decorative resins for our automotive and automotive refinish plants. It has more than 120 employees.
