Today marks an exciting new chapter for Postcard Cabins, formerly Getaway—we’re pleased to announce that Marriott has acquired our brand. What began in 2015 with a mission to create spaces where people could slow down, escape an always-on culture and invest in the relationships that matter most has grown into a national movement. With 29 Outposts, 1,200+ cabins, and tens of millions of hours spent in nature, Postcard Cabins has become a leader in outdoor hospitality and a trusted place for guests to rest, disconnect and recharge. This acquisition by Marriott represents a major milestone, allowing us to bring our signature nature-based escapes to an even broader audience through Marriott’s extensive Bonvoy travel platform. Starting in 2025, Marriott Bonvoy members will be able to book and redeem points for Postcard Cabins stays, making it easier than ever to experience the beauty of slowing down and spending time in the great outdoors. We’re excited to continue our mission of redefining how travelers connect with nature, free time, and meaningful experiences—all with Marriott’s global reach and resources by our side. Here’s to the next chapter. 🌿 #PostcardCabins #MarriottInternational #OutdoorHospitality #NatureGetaways

Today, we're announcing a name change, from Getaway to Postcard Cabins. New name, same team, same unforgettable experience. We’re turning the page to a new chapter that continues our core mission: creating meaningful moments of connection in nature. With this name change, we’re crafting stays that are picture-perfect, just like a postcard. As a small ask for our community of Team Members past and present, we encourage all our Team Members to change their work on their individual pages from 'Getaway' to 'Postcard Cabins.'

This is your sign to take a couple days off, take a hike and stay in a tiny cabin in the woods. Getaway makes it so easy to leave the big city and indulge in nature! 🍃 ✨ Here’s my morning routine before I went hiking in Shenandoah National Park.
