  • It’s a perfect day to come together and celebrate the end of an incredible year with our team and colleagues from Lovett Commercial in ÅRT — ĈLUB’s club room before its grand opening this Saturday, 12/7. This year’s accomplishments wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication, creativity, and hard work of everyone involved. We’re so grateful for all the effort that brought us here. The evening was made even more special with some of Art Club’s Season 1 artists joining us for the celebration. We can’t wait to see their incredible artworks meet the public soon. Looking forward to what’s next! 💙

On Wednesday, November 6th, POST proudly hosted a panel of experts organized by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Our director, Kirby Liu, joined CBRE Vice President Parker Duffie and David Romulo Cisneros, Economic Development Manager, Downtown Houston+, in a discussion moderated by Jeffrey R., Senior Manager of Investments at Regency Centers. The panel discussed the ever-changing Houston market and was well attended by approximately 100 industry professionals. Thank you to all who joined us and contributed to the conversation, making this event a valuable exchange of insights for our city’s future.

In the wake of one of the hottest summers on record, a derecho storm, and Hurricane Beryl, the new exhibition Houston Is So Hot Right Now could not come at a more critical time. The vision for alleviating "bad" heat and amplifying "good" heat in Downtown was developed based on input from Downtown stakeholders in partnership with Downtown Houston+ and supported by the student intern program in the Houston office of SWA over the summer of 2024. This vision boldly weaves together open space improvements, climate adaptation strategies, and social infrastructure. Join us tonight, September 26th, at 6:00 pm at X Atrium for the opening and be part of this important conversation. Houston Is So Hot Right Now will be on display until November 30th, offering crucial insights into how we can build a more resilient future for our city. Learn More: https://lnkd.in/gTq4SAxJ

  • Big things are growing here. 🌿 Eden Plant Co. is bringing fresh greenery and vibrant energy to our Z Atrium, along with a new coffee kiosk operation opening next week! ☕ Step inside to explore the plants, grab your favorite coffee, and enjoy the lush atmosphere they’re adding to downtown Houston. None of this could have happened without our supportive tenants and POST community. We cannot thank you enough for embracing new ideas that keep our space evolving. 💙

This winter, TOMO Magazines is making a return to Houston at Art Club, in the X Atrium of POST Houston. Begun as a unique magazine shop in a refurbished school bus, TOMO established a permanent location in Montrose where it quickly became a neighborhood hub for art magazines and design goods. After closing in 2017, TOMO will be back with Art Club collaborations and exclusive design goods focusing on visual and experiential artists. Plus, the store’s magazine selection returns in a new form, featuring titles from small publishers across Spain, Mexico, Italy, Japan, the UK, and the USA, along with local Houston and regional publications.
