Highlighting our Start-up with the St. Louis Business Journal has been a Dream come true
She endured swarms of insects when she went out to water her plants. Then, a startup was born. It now offers patented, 3D-printed self-watering pots.

While today marks the official start of classes, we’re still re-living (and recuperating from) all the excitement from last week’s #CELect St. Louis kickoff! Between an alum/student networking event + happy hour at the Boathouse, a tour of Delmar DivINe with an inspiring presentation from Maxine Clark, a student/client dinner at our very own WashU Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and a tour of Cortex Innovation District (complete with a founder panel), there was no shortage of energy & excitement. And it doesn’t stop there—students will spend the next 8 weeks collaborating with teammates and their startups as they gain real-world experience planning and presenting business strategy. A few thank yous to those who made it all happen: - Founder Panelists: Doug Spencer @Bold Xchange, ❤️🔥 Alex Elias ❤️🔥 @A. E. Consulting Solutions, Jordan Russell, PhD @Gateway Quantum Electronics, and Kay Wells @Posie Pots Thank you for sharing your time & words of wisdom with our students. - Our always gracious host Maxine Clark @Delmar DivINe - CEL’S Associate Director Amy Soell & Principal, Venture Growth Dave Kanoff @WashU Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation & Entrepreneurship - Special shout out to this year’s fall client roster: Bold Xchange, Reimagine Resources, Sobriety Hub Software, & Ellipsis Travel. We're happy to have you on board! #CenterforExperientialLearning #CEL #WashUOlin #CELect #STL #Startups
