Labeling Sucks. We're here to change that.

About us

WHAT WE DO: Multiple industry and product standards mandate permanent labeling, usually in terms of “lasting for the life of the product.” Manufacturers and OEMs currently acquiring pressure-sensitive adhesive or other types of labeling technologies specified for use on low surface energy (LSE) polyolefin plastic durable goods are receiving labels originally engineered for, and tested on, high surface energy metals and composites where they perform amicably. But look closely at any pressure-sensitive adhesive or adhesive based label datasheet and you'll find no chemical or environmental testing conducted on actual LSE polyolefin plastic test panels. That’s because these label technologies, when applied to LSE polyolefin plastics and exposed to abuse, chemicals, UV and other real-world environmental conditions neither adhere nor bond permanently. Fusion Labeling Technology from Polyfuze on the other hand takes Pigmented Polymer Plastic (label), and Polymer Plastic (Product), then fuses them together using heat/pressure via Hotstamp/ VeraFlex technology. The fusion reaction takes place very quickly during the heat/pressure process resulting in the two plastics coming together (melting/joining) and then quickly cooling once heat/pressure is released. WHY IT WORKS: Different from standard Adhesion Technology where the primary action is a surface adhesion reaction resulting in two different materials adhering; Fusion Technology is at the molecular level creating one piece of fused Olefin plastic inseparable. This creates an unbreakable chain that cannot be removed by abuse, chemicals, UV or other environmental inputs. Polyfuze Fusion Labeling Technology is backed by the Polyfuze Lifetime Guarantee. When Labels Fail, Everyone Pays the Price... Except the Label Supplier. Marketing claims are easy to make. But when those claims don’t hold up, the consequences can be dangerous—and costly. Consider these claims: 1️⃣ “Hard-wearing: Rigorously tested to hold up under extreme conditions.” 2️⃣ “Guaranteed to last the lifetime of your product.” 3️⃣ “We will replace or refund if it doesn’t stick!” These bold promises sound great—but the reality paints a different picture. 📸 See for yourself: The collage below shows real-world failures of labels that were guaranteed to hold up under extreme conditions, guaranteed to be permanent, and guaranteed to last the life of the product. But in the real world, peeling, fading, and cracking reveal the truth. Here’s the hidden cost of choosing this cheap alternative: 🚨 Safety Risks: Failing warning labels on heavy equipment or safety products can lead to accidents, injuries, or worse. ⚖️ Regulatory Nightmares: Manufacturers are held accountable when labels fail to meet legal requirements for permanence and durability, facing recalls, fines, or lawsuits. 💸 Brand Damage: Faded or peeling labels send a clear message to customers: this product isn’t built to last. Many choose these cheaper alternatives based on price and flashy promises, believing it’s the most cost-effective option. But here’s the truth: the cost of inaction—sticking with a supplier whose claims don’t hold up—adds up quickly. Failed labels lead to lost trust, regulatory penalties, safety risks, and expensive rework. At Mold In Graphic Systems® and Polyfuze® Graphics Corporation, we’ve seen this play out firsthand. Some customers initially chose these cheaper options but came back when they realized the value of change: ✔️ True Lifetime Durability: Our labels fuse with polyolefin plastics at the molecular level and are globally tested by following the guidelines of globally recognized standards like ASTM, UL, and SAE. ✔️ Proven Safety and Compliance: Our labels are designed to withstand real-world conditions, ensuring your products meet safety and regulatory requirements for their entire lifecycle. ✔️ Long-Term Savings: Investing in durable, permanent labels prevents costly failures, brand damage, and compliance headaches down the road. The choice is clear: Cheap alternatives cost more in the long run. When it comes to safety, compliance, and your reputation, don’t gamble on unproven claims. If you’re ready for labeling solutions you can truly trust, let’s talk. #TruthInTesting #DurabilityMatters #SafetyFirst #Accountability #PolymerFusionLabeling

Polymer Fusion Labelling Solutions for durable plastics.

This article is shared with thanks to Martin Wells of SA Polymer Technology magazine, South Africa. Our Mold In Graphics were very much in evidence when I visited the Paddle Sports Show in Strasbourg in September. During the 1990s, while working in the South African polymer industry, I thoroughly enjoyed reading the magazine.  Packed with comprehensive industry news, technical articles, and valuable insights into market trends, it was a valuable resource.  I particularly enjoyed the many photos and news of industry colleagues, though, sadly, few faces are familiar these days. SA Polymer Technology has been a cornerstone of the Southern African polymers industry for many years. Published by Summit Publishing in Cape Town and spearheaded by Martin, who brings over three decades of expertise in polymer journalism, the magazine provides in-depth coverage of the plastics, composites, and rubber sectors. With a circulation exceeding 2,500, the magazine reaches a diverse readership, including equipment and material manufacturers, suppliers, converters, recyclers, and R&D professionals throughout Southern Africa. Another real world example of the quality and durability of our polymer fusion labeling technology... We’re thrilled to share this story from a happy Scenic Road customer who put their Polyfuze-labeled, made-in-the-USA wheelbarrow to the ultimate durability test: supporting Cali, a 1,600 lb Belgian Draft/Quarter Horse cross! Here’s what they had to say: "If you're ever wondering about the durability of your wheelbarrows, this image provides quite the testimonial... I've had this wheelbarrow for over 6 years, and today I'm especially grateful for the quality of your products!" Not only does this speak to the strength of Scenic Road’s wheelbarrows, but it’s also a testament to the lasting performance of Polyfuze® - Labeling Solutions, which are fused directly into the plastic to endure years of use (and unique situations like this one). Thank you, Scenic Road Manufacturing, and your amazing customers, for choosing American-made quality! #PolymerFusion #DurabilityTested #AmericanMade #OnlyTheBest

Are Your Labels CPSIA Compliant? Don’t Risk Non-Compliance with Children's Products! When it comes to products like car seats and other children's items, tracking labels are not just a recommendation—they are a CPSIA requirement. While the law may not explicitly state that labels must last for the life of the product, it does mandate that labels be permanently affixed and durable enough to withstand normal use and wear, implying they should last as long as the product remains in use. But it's not just tracking labels! CPSIA also requires warning labels—critical for communicating safety information like choking hazards or proper usage instructions—and regulatory compliance labels, confirming that products meet safety standards such as ASTM F963 and CFR 16 Part 1303. These labels often need to be multi-color to meet ANSI safety standards and ensure visibility, particularly for warnings. For products made from polyolefin thermoplastics, adhesion-based labels simply can't meet these standards. Adhesive labels can peel off, fade, or degrade over time, leading to non-compliance risks. Similarly, laser-engraving might seem like a solution, but it falls short—especially for multi-color ANSI warnings that are essential for safety. Laser etching provides only a single color, making it impossible to convey important multi-color safety information. The real solution? Polymer Fusion labels, which fuse directly into polyolefin materials, ensuring CPSIA-compliant labeling that lasts for the life of the product. Unlike adhesive labels or engraving that may fail, Polymer Fusion labels eliminate the need for costly replacements, prevent the loss of critical safety messages, and protect against potential litigation. The cost of inaction is high. When labels fail due to adhesive degradation or other methods, manufacturers risk: Product recalls Fines for non-compliance Brand damage Legal liabilities due to missing safety information Investing in Polymer Fusion labeling ensures that none of these risks become reality. Inaction could mean serious financial consequences, but the value of change guarantees permanent, compliant labeling that protects both your brand and your customers. Are your labels ready to meet CPSIA’s durability expectations? Let’s talk about how Polymer Fusion can help your products stay compliant for their full lifecycle.
