We're incredibly proud of our Kelso site for their outstanding support of Arthurshiel Rescue Centre. Thanks to the efforts of Lynsey Matthewson and Nicola Robertson, who spearheaded fundraising initiatives this year – from sponsored events to bake sales and draws – our Kelso team collectively raised a fantastic £12,200. This impressive sum has been matched by Plexus, resulting in a total of £24,400 for Arthurshiel. We hope this contribution makes a significant impact on the vital work of this wonderful charity.

Meet Chris, who joined Plexus in 2018 as a temporary team member at our Neenah manufacturing facility and has since made incredible strides in his career. Through Plexus’ commitment to our Growing our People value, he was able to explore different roles before ultimately pursuing his passion for IT. From shadowing leadership to transitioning into an internship and ultimately graduating with a degree in Applied Computing, Chris has demonstrated what it means to fully embrace the opportunities Plexus offers. Today, he is a System Engineer, taking the next exciting step in his career journey. As we observe #NationalEnergyConservationDay, we reflect on the importance of energy efficiency as a cornerstone of sustainability. This year's theme, "Every Watt Counts," reminds us that even small improvements can lead to lasting environmental impacts. Plexus is proud to share that through initiatives such as renewable energy integration, solar panel installations and LED lighting upgrades, we were able to achieve more than a 5% reduction in global emissions in fiscal 2024! Our Women in Network (WiN) Employee Resource Group in Oradea, Romania, organized four workshops focusing on women’s leadership in a changing community. The final workshop attracted over 200 participants, including Plexus team members and community members. Plexus leaders shared their personal and professional experiences, offering inspiration and motivation. They discussed empathy in leadership, making decisions under pressure, and how vulnerability and introspection can build inner strength. The workshops fostered a sense of community and leadership that will inspire the participants to lead confidently and resiliently.

This National Apprenticeship Week, we’re highlighting the hard work, dedication, and growth of our youth apprentices. As they gain hands-on experience, build new skills, and pave the way for bright futures, we’re proud to celebrate their contributions and the next generation of leaders they’re becoming. Many of our youth apprentices transition to Plexus interns or full-time team members, reflecting our commitment to our Growing our People value.
