About us

Pinnacle Imaging Systems is the developer of world-class high dynamic range video and still imaging solutions for surveillance systems, commercial drone, automotive ADAS, intelligent traffic, smart traffic light/cities, machine vision applications and commercial body-worn camera systems. - Pinnacle is proud to introduce the Denali-MC HDR ISP, a full, camera-ready end-to-end ISP, which utilizes advanced algorithms to compensate and minimize HDR motion artifacts. With limited development, the Denali-MC HDR ISP can support up to 29 CMOS sensors, 12 HDR modes and is flexible enough to be portable to the most widely used logic platforms, FPGA, soft FPGA, SoC, DSP and ASIC. - What’s more, Denali-MC can be integrated with any other standard ISP. It accepts raw Bayer data from the sensor and returns tone mapped Bayer data back to the primary ISP. - The Denali-MC HDR ISP provides compensation for HDR induced motion artifacts using Pinnacle’s advanced algorithms. Denali-MC delivers clean, enhanced, usable video data in almost any scene or camera position, which can be utilized by recognition engines. - The Denali-MC HDR ISP is also one of the highest real-world dynamic range solutions available compared to pixel-level HDR using theoretical measurements and other HDR ISP’s. - The Denali-MC has other attributes including the React! feature, which provides a concurrent HDR video stream and HDR still capture, at any interval, any duration and full resolution or down sampled, which has application for surveillance, traffic and machine vision. - Various IP blocks within the Denali-MC HDR ISP can be licensed such as Denali-MC world class LATM block, which can be used with natively high dynamic range sensors and provides the highest color accuracy available, keeping all the original color data intact. - As an automotive ADAS HDR ISP, Denali-MC can send recognition networks higher quality, real-time HDR video data, with compensation for HDR motion artifacts. Further, Denali-MC can split the video data into two streams, one sent to the ADAS recognition engine and another goes through Pinnacle’s world-class locally adaptive tone mapping IP block. The video stream goes from 16-bit to 8-bit to conform to the vehicle’s center console display, while preserving 100% of the original color data.
