Looking back at the metrics, the subjects that sparked conversations in 2023 continued to hold significant relevance and interest in 2024. Yesterday, we hosted our last webinar of 2024 and were joined by Scott Sell, CIR, Andrea Lessard, & Ben Dickinson to discuss the major HR/TA trends that were most impactful to their organizations (Mercy, Red Bull, & ID.me) this year. Here are a few of our takeaways: 🟪 All 3 businesses used AI in some capacity this year and all agree that AI should be used to enable the TA team to do their job faster and better but not to do the job for them. 🟪 One big piece of advice for implementing skills-based hiring is to secure executive buy-in from the start. By aligning leadership, the focus shifts to how the approach benefits the organization, rather than feeling like another TA-driven initiative. 🟪 Using interview guides to implement skills-based hiring has become a "no-brainer". 🟪 Internal mobility is seen as a key driver for both retention and recruitment. By fostering growth and investing in an employee's development, you're creating an environment where people are not only encouraged to stay but are also drawn to join an organization that prioritizes their career progression. Huge thanks to Scott, Andrea, & Ben for joining us! We're really looking forward to Friday! Why? Because our CEO & Founder, Mark Simpson, will be joining Jason Averbook and JESS VON BANK on the Now of Work Digital Meetup presented by Mercer. The conversations they curate every Friday are phenomenal, and we're excited for them to dive into how AI is changing the interview process, examples of insights that we’re seeing from pulling back the curtain on how people interview, how skills-based recruiting is impacting hiring, and more. Join the conversation live by signing up at https://lnkd.in/eZACX9q6. #NowofWork #DigitalMeetup

As Spotify delivered your "Wrapped" recap of the year's top listening moments yesterday, we were inspired to create a "Wrapped" of our own. Since the start of 2024, our customers have conducted nearly 100K interviews with Pillar. As we close out the year, we wanted to provide a "behind the scenes" glimpse into some of the key insights and trends uncovered from them. In the guide, we explore... 🟣 Gender differences in hiring 🟣 Candidate experience in interviews 🟣 Common interview benchmarks 🟣 The most common areas of bias in interviews 🟣 Candidates' most frequently asked questions ...and much more! Interviews are a treasure trove of information, and the insight we gain from them is fascinating - opening a window into a process that's historically been a black box. We look forward to sharing even more data throughout 2025. Check out the guide at the link in the comments.
