🎁✨ Looking for the perfect gift for your toddler this holiday season? Our Toddler Towers have been called “The Best Learning Towers that let Toddlers Safely Reach New Heights” by industry experts at Forbes. 🗞️ As featured in Parents: The Best Toddler Towers for Your Littlest Learners to Step Things Up a Notch,” Our Design Forward and Kid Forward furniture offers unique solutions that are both functional and provide your toddler with a step of independence. Stella, a mother of a 2-year-old, says, “If it were up to him, he'd be in this learning tower the whole day, especially when the learning tower was parked right next to the kitchen sink.” This is the ideal present for your budding sous chef! 📚 The Good Trade calls our best selling bookshelf: The Best Montessori Bookshelves For Early Readers, saying, "The bookshelf is simple and chic, with rounded edges all around, three tiers of front-facing deep shelving all at toddler height, "Making it the perfect addition to your playroom or toddlers bedroom. And not to mention we donate a portion of our proceeds to One Tree Planted. 🧗♀️ Have a toddler climbing on your furniture? The Piccalio Pikler Triangle set is mentioned by Forbes as being one of the best toys for a 1-Year old. Sasa, a Deputy Editor at Forbes says, “We love that the whole thing folds down flat so you can store it out of sight as needed. It’s made with sustainably sourced birch plywood and New Zealand pine. Happy Small Business Saturday! We started Piccalio in 2021 after seeing a gap in the market for well-designed, non-toxic, sustainably made kids' furniture. Our first products were small wooden toys, but we have grown over the last 3 years to include new heirloom furniture pieces families love. We’re a small team with fewer than 10 people, working hard to build the most trustworthy kids' furniture brand you can find. Thank you for your support!

Beige seems like a neutral color, but it’s been causing lots of controversy in the design world. Architectural Digest recently published an article about beige moms using the color in their homes to protect their mental health. As a children’s furniture and toy company, we do love a beige and natural wood for many of our pieces. Our design philosophy also incorporates elements of Montessori, which encourages the use of neutral shelving. Here’s our take on using beige in design, and what the science says about designing children’s spaces to promote learning and well-being. A Response to "Unpacking the Beige Kids Decor Controversy on the Internet" written by Katherine McLaughlin for Architectural Digest. Why Piccalio Builds Non Toxic Furniture and Toys About 90% of the toy industry uses plastics exclusively. Similarly concerning, as many as 80% of toys with normal wear and tear end up in landfills. One of Piccalio's core values is sustainability. As a company that creates products for children, we believe it’s our responsibility to build a brighter future for the next generation and our planet “For me, I have always loved wellness and health. It goes back to how we grew up. We didn’t have so many toys…we experienced slow living, less is more," Kostic explains. This philosophy melds sustainable practices with intentional design. Piccalio's toys and furniture inspire imagination, connection, and learning. Unlike many consumer products today, we don't plan obsolescence to force you to buy more. Instead, we design products with multiple functionalities and generations of use. Read on with Piccalio's Founders as they explain how we pick sustainable materials. https://bit.ly/3TXBVvy

A new study links using products like lotions and hair conditioner to higher levels of endocrine-disrupting chemicals called phthalates in young children. Phthalates are a group of chemicals often added to plastics to make them stronger. They are also used as ingredients in some products children use every day such as personal care products, textiles, clothing, hard-goods, and more. Unfortunately, as endocrine disrupters, these chemicals can interfere with your child's hormones and development. That’s why Piccalio's furniture and toys are free of phthalates AND free of lead, cadmium, formaldehyde, and other harmful substances.
