Year-end checklist for success in 2025: - Review your financial information.  - Review tax-saving strategies with your accountant. - Do a yearly inventory   - Lose the dead stock: return it or mark it down. - Set realistic sales goals and plans for 2025  - Create and implement a marketing plan. - Don't forget to give you and your team a pat on the back for the challenges faced and overcome in 2024! Wrapping up these tasks in 2024 will set you on the path for success in 2025.  

The mandatory Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) report filing is back in effect! Following a recent federal Court of Appeals decision on December 23, 2024, businesses must file their BOI by the new deadline: January 13, 2025. This extension allows businesses more time to comply after the previous injunction, but don’t wait! Submit your report by the deadline to avoid penalties. Welcome to the POA Family - Cheek & Scott Drugs! Cheek & Scott Drugs was started in 1965 when Tom Cheek and Allison Scott opened the location to serve the residents of Suwannee and the surrounding counties. Cheek & Scott Home Medical Equipment Division was formed in 1983 to provide customers with medical equipment. In 2000, Jeff Scott took ownership of the company from his father Allison. In 2009, a second pharmacy location was added in Lake City to serve the Columbia county community. In 2017, a third pharmacy location was added in Jasper to serve the Hamilton county community. In 2020, Joseph Chamberlain, Eric Johnson, and Aaron Scott took ownership of the company and have continued in the same tradition of striving to provide complete and quality healthcare to the people of North Central Florida.
