This week, our students presented their holiday program. This included violin performances by our students who are working with Music Orchard Richmond. Everyone was feeling the holiday spirit as they sang, danced, and played music. We were blessed today with two in-kind donations that will be used in distributions this week. The National Association of University Women-Richmond Branch brought cute holiday-themed boxes of non-perishables and The Bless Cookies Community Network contributed around 60 boxes of food and toys for the students. We recently celebrated our volunteers at River City Roll and a wonderful time was had by all! We presented five awards at the event: The Green Thumb Award, Community Partner Award, Educator's Choice Award, Cheryl Guedri Philanthropy Award, and Volunteer of the Year. Recipients were voted on by the Board of Associates, except for the Educator's Choice Award, which was voted on by the Education Department. We are so grateful to all our volunteers and the impactful services you provide for our community.
