Everyone say hello to January’s #POPstar, Kaylee Ingram—HR Representative!👏🌟 She began her PeopleTec journey in 2016 as an intern.👩🏼💻 When we asked what she enjoys about her role and team, she said,” I get to help people each and every day. When I get to help an employee with questions, and I can tell that I have relieved some stress off their shoulders, it brings me joy. I also love the whole #PeopleTec HR Team and our little #HR Operations Team! Everyone on the team is so fun to work with and works well together.”💙💙💙 When we asked what she likes about PeopleTec, Kaylee said, “I like that PeopleTec has given me the flexibility to work from home. I live and work in Nashville, TN, and I come down to Huntsville for special events or to work from the corporate office when needed.”🏡 Outside of work, she is actively involved with the Crieve Hall Church of Christ Young Adult/College group in Nashville. Kaylee also loves exercising and spending time with her husband, friends, and family. 🙌She and her sister even co-lead a women’s exercise class every other week!🏋️♀️💪 When it comes to movies and music, Kaylee enjoys romantic comedies, one of her favorites being “Sweet Home Alabama”. She is also a big country music fan seeing as that’s pretty much all she listens to.🤠💿 We are thankful to have you on our PeopleTec team. Thank you for everything that you do, Kaylee!🎊💙 #PeopleFirst #HumanResources #PeopleofPeopleTec #OwnIt #BPTW #GPTW

Great article featuring Dr. David Noever and Forrest McKee! AIs like ChatGPT that are powered by large language models can create compellingly plausible responses to any question, but there is no guarantee that their answers have any basis in reality. This issue can be exacerbated when dealing with unsolved problems in science and philosophy. “So many of these models are people-pleasers,” says David Noever at PeopleTec, a US technology firm. “To the point of hallucination.” Noever and Forrest McKee, also at PeopleTec, say that the way to address this is for AI models to develop the awareness to admit ignorance. To create a test of this ability, the pair took in various scientific fields, from biology to mathematics, and whittled them down to 675 questions.
The ability to admit ignorance could be a sign of truly intelligent AI, and a new quiz of unsolved or perhaps even unsolvable questions aims to put this idea to the test
