Software implementations! You've done the work, researched your options, chosen your vendor, and now it is time to start getting to it. You have a massive conversion ahead of you. What was your day-job now seems like a nuisance to the overarching mountain you know you have to tackle in front of you, but you know it's for the greater good: Increased communication Easier processes Integration with existing systems and much more! The timelines are deadly; that's why they're called deadlines. The old software is expiring, and you've been tasked to do everything you already do while taking on an extra 20% of work for this conversion project. How do you keep your spirits up, your eyes on the prize, and get this done over the next 6 months?

First there was ledger paper, then there was QuickBooks. First there was HTML, then there was GoDaddy. First there were Lotus 1-2-3 macros, then there was VBA. First there was coding, then there was Power Automate Desktop. Technology has evolved to empower everyday users with tools that once belonged to specialists. What was complex 20 years ago is now within your reach. It’s time to step up and learn how to automate and streamline for yourself and your team.

There are several approaches to implementing software when coupled with a vendor's Professional Services (PS) implementation team. 1. Give your data to the PS and have them do it. This is by far the most expensive, because PS doesn't understand your data. Have you ever tried to read a multi-tab workbook that you didn't create? If the implementation team is getting paid by the hour, your losing valuable hours of them decoding your work. If you are relying on them to reconcile, there is even more hours at stake and the budget is getting eaten up. 2. Request import loaders for you to populate. In this role, PS guides you in the implementation phase, but you are ultimately responsible for populating the loaders and reconciling the data after it's imported. This is a much larger pull on your end, but you get to see how the system works. 3. Don't hire a PS team, and do it all by yourself. Good luck! Let us know in the comments the good, the bad, and the ugly that you have seen when it comes to implementations.

Are you a coach or consultant with clients succeeding in your original offer? During the building of most offers, clients are building systems, trying out different things and learning their way around a new world. Once these systems are in place and the initial objectives are achieved, it often creates a need for subsequent services. For example, a new accountant may need employment services after successfully growing their business, or someone might require setters and closers after establishing a sales funnel. This is where our expertise at Peak Digital comes into play. We specialize in streamlining, documenting, and automating daily, monthly, and quarterly processes in a continuous improvement framework. Our services can reduce operational processes by 80% or more, drastically cut turnaround times, and enhance the overall client experience. Let’s collaborate! We invite you to discuss how our offerings can serve as the perfect post-execution solution for your clients, ensuring they continue to thrive and scale efficiently. It's demo time tomorrow, 9/17/24 at 11am ET We are going to explore capturing elements in web browsers and applications. for this demo, we will: Simulate logging into a website Downloading a report from a website Renaming the recently downloaded file - a very common question we get on Power Automate Desktop User Community. Separately, we will look at navigating Notepad via the actual applications menu items to simply show how easy navigating Windows applications are as well as the SaveAs menu which is very common to come across. Remember Apple's old saying "we have an app for that"? That's the attitude we have when it comes to building automated work flows. If it doesn't exist already, let's make it exist. Tell us where you spend most of your time, and if your answer is "in meetings", then we still have you covered. Hope everyone is enjoying their week.

Time is the most valuable currency. That's why people hire employees. To give their time. To save the owner time. Automations complete tasks 4-5x faster than humans. Give the time back to your employees. Speed up the turnaround for your clients. Whatever the reason, let's invest in the most valuable currency there is.
