When luxury meets careful craftsmanship, the result is nothing short of extraordinary. And that is exactly the result of Tyrrell and Laing International’s prestigious collaboration with the iconic Park Hyatt Chicago in Chicago and design firm Anderson/Miller, Ltd. Every project of this scale thrives on seamless collaboration between stakeholders. A key contributor was designer Laurie Miller of Anderson Miller, whose extensive experience in luxury hotels, resorts, and restaurants brought a unique vision to the table. Anderson Miller’s philosophy of crafting experiences, not just spaces, was perfectly aligned with this project. The synergy between Tyrrell and Laing's craftsmanship and Anderson Miller's design expertise resulted in a final product that not only serves its purpose but enhances the entire suite’s ambiance. On the diverse and innovative menu, curated under the leadership of food and beverage director Ryan McMullin, there’s an inventive take on the traditional espresso martini. The cocktail base comprises Grey Goose vodka as the primary spirit, Mr Black coffee liqueur for its coffee and sweet attributes, Two Brothers espresso to heighten the coffee notes and yield foam post-shaking, and lastly, demerara brown sugar syrup infused with salted butter caramel. As a stunning local touch, the cocktail foam is expertly adorned with a precise depiction of the iconic Chicago skyline — a nod to the breathtaking view visible from NoMI Garden's seventh-floor terrace — reflecting in Chicago’s famous metallic “Bean” sculpture.
