Hear from one of our Team Members, Jesse about his favorite part about working at our Penn Cove location in Coupeville, Washington! At Penn Cove we grow and harvest mussels, specifically the Mytilus trossulus. This location is unique because of its pristine growing conditions within the cove. Our mussels are natural filter feeders and by growing in the cove, they play a key role in the aquatic environment for the ecosystem. Jesse is a supervisor on the mussel farm and one of his favorite parts about working with Pacific Seafood is seeing the growth within his crew.
