  • Since its establishment in 2012, African Bamboo has dedicated itself to build a strong foundation for an investable and scalable business. The entrepreneurial brother-sister duo, Khalid and Rania Duri, immersed themselves in Ethiopia’s bamboo market, developed and patented processing technology for resilient bamboo-based materials, and built an equitable supply chain. This has led to guaranteed offtake agreement worth $94 million.
