It’s been an honor to collaborate with Meta, Arup and other industry leaders to advance the use and adoption of low-carbon concrete on data centers. This represents a full-circle effort: leveraging AI to optimize concrete mixes for lower carbon and predict performance—delivered to the data centers that power AI innovation. At Ozinga, our goal to provide net zero, carbon-neutral concrete by 2030 aligns with Meta’s commitment to achieving net-zero emissions across its value chain by the same year. It’s an incredibly exciting time to be part of this journey. The best is yet to come! #DataCenters #EmbodiedCarbon

We are inspired by so many organizations who work extra hard during Christmastime to ensure others feel loved, seen, warm, fed and provided for. This Christmas season groups of our coworkers had the opportunity to work with: 1. Samaritan's Purse to send shoeboxes of gifts to children overseas 2. Wreaths Across America to place wreaths on the graves of fallen service members 3. Restoration Ministries, Inc. to provide low cost Christmas toys to those in need 4. Cultivate Food Rescue to package and send food 5. Sojourner Family Peace Center organizing and stocking shelves at the holiday store 6. Milwaukee Rescue Mission to serve meals to the homeless As we step into the busy holiday celebrations, consider volunteering with or supporting these missions as the need is great and the impact is lasting. Thank you to our coworkers for their time and these organizations for the opportunity! God bless✨

Under the direction of KD Construction of Florida, LLC., we provided quality material for the foundation of the One Brickell Riverfront project, a gorgeous addition to Miami’s iconic skyline. This master-planned development, located south of the Miami River, comprises three exceptional towers, each meeting modern urban and architectural demands. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! We are so grateful for our coworkers, customers and the communities we live in. Thank you to the Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade for the opportunity to honor those fighting breast cancer and promote the importance of getting checked via Timmy the Turkey and his pink stripes🩷 Tell the people you love why you are thankful for them today! #happythanksgiving

Alongside industry leaders like Coca-Cola, Cleveland Cliffs, and Honda North America, Ozinga was one of only 11 companies selected to participate in the In-Plant Training by Better Plants program, a Department of Energy initiative aimed at improving energy performance across our plants. Held at our Chinatown location, the 2.5-day energy training session was guided by energy expert Dr. Gopala and brought together a diverse group of coworkers from across all regions and business units. Participants not only gained valuable insights from the training but also shared over 500 years of collective experience—ranging from 3 to 35 years in the field—creating a unique opportunity for collaboration and growth. The event began with opening remarks and a prayer from Marty Ozinga and closing thoughts from Paul Ozinga and Kevin Bechely, leaving the team inspired to carry forward the lessons learned. Lum Sadiku, Director of Energy and Sustainability, said, “As we focus on energy efficiency and sustainability, we’re not just improving our daily operations; we’re aligning with Ozinga’s purpose to make a positive impact on individuals, their families, and our community for generations to come. It was a true blessing for me to facilitate the training and to share the room with such a dedicated team.” This training marks another important step in our journey toward a more sustainable future, and we’re excited to continue leading the way together! #sustainability #energy #energyefficiency #buildsustainably

The Bridge Teen Center makes a lasting impact in the lives of local teens by providing a safe space for students to meet new people, learn new skills, and discover their interests through their free afterschool programs. We always love volunteering at The Bridge and it is an honor to be supporting #EmpoweringTeensMonth. A team from our Young Professionals group was able to sort 55 bags of donated items to The Bridge Thrift Center, where the proceeds support free programs for students. Check them out on social media to follow and support their mission!
