this was the last event of the year, and what an absolute blast it was! amazing people, great vibes, and unreal energy—it was a true OWOW! moment! Jeremiah was on fire as always. Kevin Mei was in the room making sure we hit our fun quota for the year. and of course, my friend, co-host, and partner in crime Eli Al-Shamari wasn’t just in the room—he’s basically all over silicon valley. big shoutout to everyone who showed up yesterday—you all made it incredible! if you couldn’t make it, no worries, there’s always next time… and trust me it’s gonna be even better! 😉 so, i was reflecting on this crazy journey from india to san francisco—it’s wild to think it’s only been two years! let’s break it down (because, you know, numbers don’t lie): -came to the USA 2 years ago -started building owow a year ago -launched in april (this year) with our very first event in the USA. and in just the last 10 months: -we’ve hosted 45+ events -welcomed 13,000 unique attendees -grown a community of 22,000 subscribers the outcome? we’ve built a family of 22,000+ amazing people far from home: -many found their first customer, investor, advisor, or mentor at our events -for us, 50%+ of our customers and all of our investors came from these events most importantly, i’ve received so much love and support along the way. a special shoutout to our cohost and venue partner VC Nest(don’t forget to check out their coworking space in palo alto 😅) and Global Entrepreneurs Hub 🏝️ (main host) and huge thanks to our generous sponsor, TheAgentic (building ai agents? you have to talk to them!) and our incredible support from Saletancy let’s not forget our amazing volunteers— Christy Rohrig , K.
