The "intellectual home" of Open and User Innovation scholars

About us

The OUI Society was formed in 2003 by academic colleagues from different fields that shared the same interest in open source and user innovation activities. The OUI Society emerged as the intellectual home to share and disseminate knowledge and ended up giving birth to a new research field in Open & User Innovation. The purpose of OUI Society is to advance and disseminate knowledge and research in the fields of open and user innovation. This includes fostering collaboration among researchers, practitioners, and policymakers, promoting education and awareness, and supporting the application of open and user innovation principles in various sectors.
