No two construction projects are the same, but one thing that is consistent is the need to embed a culture of safety on the jobsite. In our current environment where there is a shortage of skilled workers, a safer jobsite means fewer incidents and less chance that a worker will be lost to injury. Leveraging new technologies like the Otto system, available later this year, can provide significant enhancements to your culture of safety. As workers perform their work, the instant alerts guide and reinforce the behavior they have been trained to follow. Information gleaned from our data fed back into daily tool talks and pre-task plans can provide additional productivity. All of this helps with showing your workers you value them, which leads to retention. Otto was pleased to present our system at the National Construction Safety Executives' semi-annual meeting in Scottsdale, AZ this week. The members of this group meet to share ideas and discuss new trends in safety for the benefit of their 300,000 workers and were interested in learning about our system which will be commercially available later this year. With >1 billion hours of work performed annually by the members of this group, the potential positive impact of the Otto technology for their employees working at height is significant.  Thanks, NCSE, for the invitation and the engagement with us. It is clear you share our passion to enhance safety on jobsites.

We have partnered with Cauldwell Wingate Construction and Sunbelt Rentals for an eight-week pilot of the Smart Ladder™ and the Otto data system at their One Park Row project.
