Earlier this month, Orveon Global CEO Neela Montgomery attended the 40th Tax Free World Association (TFWA) World Exhibition & Conference. While there, she sat down with Jing Daily to explore one of the younger demographics, Gen Z, who is expected to contribute to passenger traffic and is projected to rise by 11.5% year over year. Montgomery said about appealing to Gen Z, “What you have to think about is how you are presenting visually, and how you are servicing [the airport] space in an artist-led way. Inspired by the 90s bitten lip and swiped from Laura’s archives, Laura Mercier Global Beauty Director Tayaba J. curated a look that challenges conventional beauty standards without foregoing the beauty for the Grace Ling SS 25 Runway ‘Neanderthal.’ Characterized with a deliberate edge of disarray yet an unkempt and chic feel that mimics Grace’s couture and ready-to-wear collection, this look features an ultra–blurred ombre lip—or, as Laura Mercier would say, “Ombre Bouche.” About the look, Tayaba J. says, “The look brings to life this expression of being a little wild and windswept. We presented classic elements of a beautiful look with a deliberate edge of disarray. This contributes to the unkempt and chic feel in Grace’s Neanderthal Collection, which is visually arresting.
