Congratulations Dan Brown for receiving the Presidential Rank Award! Thank you for your work at GSA and the San Francisco Federal Executive Board!
Congratulations to Dan Brown, GSA Regional Commissioner, Public Building Service, Region 9 (https://lnkd.in/gsFv9y_e), and an #SFFEB Executive Steering Committee Member, on winning the Presidential Rank Award! Dan has been an integral partner of the SFFEB and is responsible for one of GSA’s largest and diverse federal real estate inventories in terms of scope, complexity, and income production. Additionally, Dan champions extensive cost saving programs like the Federal Coworking Space pilot (https://lnkd.in/gh5M4aHX), an initiative that provides more flexibility and less friction with move-in-ready, secure spaces, that allows federal employees to share amenities, space, and services, to make the most effective use of government-owned real estate. What is the Presidential Rank Awards Program? The Civil Service Reform Act of 1978 established the Presidential Rank Awards Program (https://lnkd.in/gu2u4n8X) to recognize a select group of career members of the Senior Executive Service (SES) for exceptional performance over an extended period of time. Later, the Rank Award statute was amended to extend eligibility to senior career employees with a sustained record of exceptional professional, technical, and/or scientific achievement recognized on a national or international level. Two categories of Presidential Rank Award are available. Again, congratulations, Dan Brown. PICTURES: 1. Congratulations, Dan Brown! 2. Kelly L.
