Our team in Singapore held a grand opening of their new office in the historical and cultural precinct of Bugis in the South of Singapore. The celebration was nothing short of spectacular. It began with the cutting of a ribbon emblazoned with the word ‘complexity’ to symbolize our mission to make self-care simple. 💚 Rhythmic beats from red and gold Chinese lions who roamed the office, blessing every corner, and the display of two auspicious Chinese calligraphy scrolls at the entrance - welcoming prosperity and success, completed this uniquely Singaporean ceremony. The office has been christened ‘Majulah Opella’, an ode to Singapore’s spirit of growth, progress, and harmony. Core values that align with our own Opella goals and ethos. The open layout, dedicated huddle spaces and warm and embracing design reflect our bold spirit, and are just some of the things we love about this vibrant new space, where our AMEA region and ASEA zone teams can come All in. Round of applause to two of our Opella brand teams who earned prestigious recognition at the Nicholas Hall Asia Pacific Marketing Excellence Awards – Telfast and EVE. Telfast Vietnam came home with second place after finding a solution to tracking allergens for 25 million Vietnamese consumers affected by air pollution. The team recently partnered with Moblaze to create real-time, location-based allergy alerts using Google Maps and IQAir API - empowering individuals across Vietnam to take control of their health and breathe easier. Meanwhile, EVE Japan brought home third place for the BeliEVE project, which gave a voice to Japanese working women’s invisible pain through AI-driven tools and purpose-led storytelling on International Women’s Day. Simplifying healthcare. A challenge we at Opella, rise to daily. In the Philippines, Fatty Liver is a silent epidemic. It’s a condition that affects at least 10-20% of the Filipino population. With risk factors including obesity, diabetes, and high cholesterol, it can progress unnoticed to severe liver damage. To inspire discussions and empower people to take control of their liver health, we recently hosted a scientific event in Manila. The event had three important objectives: 📢 Raise awareness - among the general public and key stakeholders. 💡Destigmatize - by encouraging open dialogue so that more people will seek support. 📋Motivate the public to assess their risk factors - the first step to taking your health in your own hands. Hard science. Easy read. Our expert speakers delivered simple but clear messaging, which was then used by media in attendance. This has helped us spread the word to over 822k people across the Philippines.
