Proud to highlight this OnlineMedEd peer pearl from resident Dr. Brooklynne Palmer, MD, who shares how OME's approach to thinking like a doctor from day one can actually make medical school manageable for students who are feeling overwhelmed and anxious. Educational technology that simply perpetuates the memorization and regurgitation trap that is literally making students unwell needs to stop. Dr. Palmer says "I’m so glad I didn’t follow the advice of colleagues who told me to just “show up and learn on the job.”.... instead she came to residency more prepared to take care of her patients in part because of how we designed our content. More Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) LSL 2024 excitement. OnlineMedEd is featuring student users as part of our AAMC conference experience for attendees. As a student focused learning company, we believe there's no better way for educators and leaders to learn how OME can support their institution than hearing from students themselves. To that end, meet Joseph Ayim Zamora Joseph is an experienced medical student with a focus on helping students excel in high-pressure environments. With a proven track record of success, he’s dedicated to guiding future doctors through the most challenging aspects of their medical journey. His passion for empowering students through actionable strategies makes him a trusted resource for those navigating the complexities of medical school. Come say hi to Joseph in Atlanta at the OME booth!
